Czech Genealogical Research Assistance

The West Public Library has a section on Genealogy Research.  Ask the Librarian for access.  

We are pleased to announce that we are offering free research assistance to those of Czech Descent looking for information on their family. Assistance if offered by appointment. The surname of the family you are searching for is required. Please provide some background information on the family such as grandparents' names, maiden name, date of birth, and the location in Texas your family immigrated. Book check-out (adults, teens, children, large print).  Computer use.  WIFI.  Scanning.  Genealogy resources.  

Services for a small fee:  

Printing.  VHS tape transfer to digital.  

Free Activities:

Crafting.  Mondays at 3:30

Games.  Wednesdays at 1:00

Book Club.  2nd Wednesday 10:30-11:30

Summer Storytime.  Presented by Tale Tellers.  June 5-July 24, 2024. Crafts, games, snacks!

Resources for adults and youth (homework skills, college prep, job hunting, etc.).
