West Public Library

Who We Are

Visit the West Public Library

The West Public Library provides free services to local citizens (with the exception of printing and converting VHS tapes to digital, which are available at a nominal cost).  The use of public computers and scanners is free.  Wi-Fi connectivity is free and is available in the parking lot when the library is closed.

The library has a total of approximately 36,000 items and can get books from the Waco library at no cost to the library or patron.

On-going events include crafting on Mondays, Games on Wednesdays, Storytime for children in the summer by our local teen Tale Tellers, and Book Club on the second Wednesday of the month.  All activities are free.

The community can best support library efforts by using the facility and checking out books, although donations are always appreciated!

Our Mission

"To enrich the lives of the community by empowering its citizens' personal, educational, and professional growth. The library is dedicated to advancing literacy and fostering life-long learning."
