Your Library Card

Getting a card, renewing materials, placing holds, etc.

Who Can Get a Card
Anyone who lives in the community over the age of eighteen may get a library card.  Those under the age of eighteen must have a parent sign and be responsible for the minor. There is no charge for library cards.

How to Get Your Card
To receive a card one must provide a photo ID with a local address.  See above for age requirements.

Borrowing Limits
Books are checked out for three-week periods. There is a 30-item limit.

Placing Holds
Holds may not be placed.

Renewing Your Borrowed Items
Call (254) 826-3070 to renew books.

Library Fines
Fines are based on circumstance.

Library Activities

Free Services:  

Book check-out (adults, teens, children, large print).  Computer use.  WIFI.  Scanning.  Genealogy resources.  

Services for a small fee:  

Printing.  VHS tape transfer to digital.  

Free Activities:

Crafting.  Mondays at 3:30

Games.  Wednesdays at 1:00

Book Club.  2nd Wednesday 10:30-11:30

Summer Storytime.  Presented by Tale Tellers.  June 5-July 24, 2024. Crafts, games, snacks!

Resources for adults and youth (homework skills, college prep, job hunting, etc.).
